Wheels and wheel adapters

Asked by GuruW4NQK Apr 12, 2018 at 09:47 AM about the 1997 GMC Sierra 1500 K1500 SLE 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Car Customization

Hey I was wondering if there was any way I
could get a wheel adapter that would
Chang my truck from 6x139 to a 10 lug
Alcoa for dump trucks and semis.      The
wheels I have now are 20x12 with 33” toyo
open country an I’m wanting to go to a 22
or 22.5x14 Alcoa style wheel. I’m wanting
to run the super singles(Alcoa’s) on all four
sides

Do a search online but all the spacers/adapters I see are for 8 lug axles. Not sure your 1/2 ton axles are strong enough.
