Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It will die on me after its warmed up good
and will turn over but wont start but i can
let it set for a while and it will start up and
do the same thing.(oil pressure hand jumps
around) i was thinking the oil pump or
sending unit but im not sure. Any ideas or
suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I would rather think that it's an Ignition Module (on the side of the Distributor) since it fails once warmed up. Yes, coils fail too - due to ignition modules. A good indicator is that you can restart the truck after a 20 to 30 minute rest. Also, you should go ahead and change out the oil pressure Sender/Switch - they're an old problem

Where is the oil pressure sender/switch located? I have put a new ignition module on it.
