Flasher noise without turn signal on.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Flasher makes that normal sound,but turn signal nor E flasher
is on.
Replaced flasher but still makes clicking sound. Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks

did you find a solution to this? because my 2000 GMC Sierra just started doing this too. Any help would be appreciated.

my 97 was doing that until i replaced the "flasher fuse" itself. It's located just beyond the brake pedal in the fuse block. Repair cost about 15.00.

Faulty break lite switch on the break pedal. Try reaching up and pivot the switch by hand, on the dowel its mounted on. Does the clicking stop?..
