Problem with fuel

I have a 2000gmc sierra 1500 after I drove my truck
and park a few minute later try to leave and the
truck won’t start I when under the truck and tap a
little bit on the fuel filter and star right on I when and
purchases a new filter and a few day later I was
driving and the truck stop running pull up the side
of the road and wait a few minute and start back up
And now this is happening more often in the
morning the truck runs perfect no problem the
problem is in the afternoon when I’m driving the
truck stop and then after a few minute start back up
some one have a Idea what the problem can be

you could be having a issue with your gas pump easiest way to get to it if your bed has a lining remove it and undo the bed bolts this is a picture of where the bed bolts are i found it on google
