2000 GMC sierra panel lights, turn signal and brake lights not working

changed turn signal fuse, left worked twice, right has a humming sound then fuse blew again.  No panel lights, cargo lamp or brake lights. check engine light illuminated constantly.

Did you have the check engine light scanned? Probably a bad ground in the electrical system.
