Begin by double checking all FUSE(S) and the Relay... basic system has an ambient light sensor located on the dash to the right of the center defrost vent that sends info to the BCM which controls the DRL relay. There is also a sun load sensor which is to the left of the center defrost vent. On the '02 there is a second fuse related to the DRL relay which is labeled IGNE (10 amp) which is the DRL relay power. The DRL fuse is power for DRL lamps. Regards

I'm having similar trouble,no low beams,(checked all fuses etc etc) so I thought it was odd but maybe the bulb burnt at the same time.Went to drivers side to screw bulb out to check, soon as the bulb was unscrewed the light came on,so i figured it was bulbs and by fiddling with it caused it to light up,I then screwed it back into the housing it stayed lit up,then I went to the passenger side started unscrewing it and it came on soon as it was unscrewed from the housing, same as the other side!screwed it back in then everything was working again.Used the truck a couple days it then sat for a couple, went to use it and the same thing was happening again,no DRL'S and no Low Beams.Mystified by this problem
