How long does it last before it breaks? The fuel pump cut off switch could be defective and the line is breaking due to high pressure

dont even get a mile down the road and it cuts off when take the bed of the truck off again and pull the fuel pump out it is busted

I wold have the pressure on the fuel pump checked because it takes a helluva lot of pressure to blow a hose
