2004 GMC Sierra 1500 4WD T series missing- Changed plugs and light is still on but not missing. What else could it be?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

No oil leaks on the floor. There was some oil on one of the plugs. Truck started to miss the other day and I changed the plugs but the check engine is still on. Any ideas on what else this could be?

Getting a P0304 code. So 4th cylinder misfire. I have no idea what could be wrong. One minute I was driving along and the next minute the truck is jerking and the check engine light is flashing. Anyone? Is this common?

I wish I could help you sooner. Replace spark plugs with the correct gap. Incorrect gap can cause a misfire and a wire set boot not properly seated on the plug. Loss of power could indicate a clogged fuel filter or a spark plug wire melting from the heat of the block. A hot motor can melt a wire. Use plastic tiles to keep wires away. Compression timing may be off too. I hope this helps.
