Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005 Audi A6  Can Shift ALL Gears &  But Car
Won’t Move. I was driving as soon I was about to
turn left at Stop light hit brake Light turn green give
GAS it did not MOVE CAR Still Runs and Start Up
100% perfect got it Towed to SHOP they checked
ATF LITTLE CAEME OUT SO YEAH I WAS OUT
TRANSMISSION FLUID RHYE OUT 5 QTS RUNS N
START LIKE I SAID BUT STILL WILL NOT MOVE
WHEN HITTING THE ACCELERATOR. NOW SHOP
CHECKING ALL FUSES & Sensors WHAT CAN BE
ISSUE??? I will Keep Everyone posted

If it was out of transmission fluid the transmission has scorched ban,s from having no fluid,no easy fix for this,meaning rebiuld the tranny or replace with new one.

What do you recommend rebuilt or new one? Where to buy them do I have have it SHOP to the SHOP that's fixing CAR. Owener will put it in for free damage my car when towed it

Rebiuld if possble,but in some case,s you can find a used one for cheaper than rebuild or new one,

I seen one has 85K I'm not sure if it's worth it seller only offering 3 month to 6 month not enough time for me .I call for rebuilt I was told $1600 includes tansmission rebuilt n tow and year warranty
