Battery drainage after replacing the differential?

recently had the differential replaced on a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500. Now the
battery keeps draining and ideas of what to troubleshoot from here?

Probably just a coincidence but you could check for shorted wires near the diff. Cold weather kills batteries. If your battery is several years old it may need replacement.

battery is only 6 months old.....thanks for the reply....I guess we will have to take a look then...

Disconnect negative cable and use multimeter to complete circuit. Anything over 50 ma is considered parasitic drain. Then pull fuses one at a time to track down the problem circuit/circuits
