My gauge cluster in my 03 1500hd goes out everyday ? It works fine in the morning and if its cold outside. But nothing works when it's hot out. What can I do?

just going from my experience in repairing cluster.... I would have the soldier connections redone on the all of the resistors on the cluster.. more importantly there are two groups of them close to the middle of the of the board. At the factories they run the circuit board over a wave pool of soldier. To save money, they have reduced the amount of soldier the use in the pools. Unfortunately that leads to a MUCH higher likelihood of getting cold soldier points. I'll see if I can find you a picture.

at the top of and to the left of the circular white plastic piece.. (the stepper motor) you'll see a group of 7 resistors.. (3 on the top and 4 on the bottom. I would try having those re soldiers, as well as the two that are just down to the left of those as well as the ones that are on the opposite side of that middle stepper motor. it would also be a good idea to have the pins on the the back of the board redone where the wiring harness actually plugs into the cluster as well. See if you can find a local electronics business to take a look at it. as that may only cost you about 50 to 60 dollars (at least that what we charge) because to send them back to the company to have it done will run you about 300 bucks
