04 Audi A4 cab ESP intermittently on while driving. Is there a recall for this

04 Audi A4 Cab. ESP driving me nuts. Light intermitentlly comes on, goes off when I restart the car. Mechanic says just reset it. Will this hurt the components of the system?

if comes on their may be a problem take to dealer for a computer scan.

Agreed, some function of the electronic stability program is bad, and a scan will allow the dealer to find and replace the problem part.
sounds like a faulty wheel speed sensor, but take it to an audi dealer and get them to check the fault memory
Where is the esp sensor located any one know
