Remote starter on 2004 Audi A4 yes or no?

I am considering installing a remote starter on my 2004 Audi A4 wagon but I've
read that it is not good for the car to idle for a long time. Has anyone had any
problems after installing remote starter? Winter is here and I would like to get
in a warm car.

when it comes to aftermarket items like remote starters they need to be professionaly done because they if done not right can cause havoc with audis.
I have a 2006 Audi A4 wagon too. Just got quotes at $700 or more! I walk out and start it by myself lol
yep you can do it on your own and some people can be pricey as hell cause they think people are suckers .. which a lot of people are. i always recommend shopping around first. an after market starter can be installed for like 300-500$ all depends on the place tho cheaper is not always better always best to make sure they know what they are doing first. i would do it myself only because i have the mechanical knowledge to do it myself.
