2004 audi a6 quattro 4.2 won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My audi turns over but doesn't seem to get
any spark. Drove fine thru a blizzard
yesterday with deep snow and ice. Got home
and parked for a few hours, now it won't
start and also the headlights don't turn on
but all other lights seem to work fine.

check your fuses you likely blew something after parking.

Thanks for responding, fuses are good. Dont have metric tools to get at the relays tho. Do you know if the same relay is for headlights & fuel pump?
check your battery both in your key fob and the car battery. and is there anything else not working ? what happens when you turn the lights to on with out the car turned to power on? normally the running lights come on. also do you hear a buzzing sound from the pump when you turn the car to power on?

Headlights don't come on at all, key turned or not. Brand new car battery, key bat is good. Connections are all solid as far as i can tell. Haven't removed the back seat yet to listen to pump. But i can turn engine over for awhile and there's no smell of gas.
i been over a few forums looking into the issue. So from what i understand the lights won't come on, and the car won't start. I would also like to know if the steering wheel lock disingauges or not and can you shift the car into a different gear or not with out manuely unlocking the shifter? If this all is in fact the problem then your issue is likely the control modual in the steering column has gone faulty. And its a job for the audi dealer in most cases as it also requires the car to be reprogrammed to the keys once its replaced. It is not a cheap fix expect roughly a bill from any where around 2000 - 3000$ depending where you live.
