won't start

Asked by audiUGh Aug 24, 2018 at 11:38 AM about the 2003 Audi A6 3.0 quattro Sedan AWD

(car has not been stated for atleast 9 months)  we put in a new starter 2003
Audi A6 Quattro 3.0....all lights come on but does not click, no codes, does
not start.  The key phob unlocks the doors no problem so is it still synced ?  I
tried on position for 15 mins and off.....still no start.  (are there any safety
features like hood is not closed, or car must be on level ground to keep it
from starting?)  Is it only computer parts that have to be synced ?  will the
fuel features keep it from not turning over....filter MAF etc ????  UGh these
cars........Thank you so much for help

    i have an 1997 audi a6, the engine is getting spark, it is getting fuel, and its not the coil pack and the starter works fine. the engine wants to start, but wont turn over and stay running.
