Hi HUP825, I can't find a description of where it's located, but this link will show you what it looks like and then you should be able to find it in your engine compartment. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/shop_parts/egr_valve/gmc/sierra.html Good luck!

it may not have one - some trucks do, some don't. you will know if you have one by looking at the passenger front of the intake manifold just behind the throttle body. If it has EGR, than there will be a metal tube running to this location on the intake. if there is no tube there, then you don't have EGR
