Engine stumbles

2001 GMC sierra 2500 hd 8.1l. Started using it in couple
months ago starts fine at minus 30. Now its 40 above zero
and takes 4 tries to start up. New fuel pump and filter as of
November 18'

My best guess is the ECT sensor. That's the engine coolant temperature sensor, if you can get it hooked to. Scanner that reads data stream you should be able to read it, when they go bad they usually read -40.
