Audi A4 won't Start

Asked by pkowlvs Jul 17, 2016 at 11:37 AM about the 2001 Audi A4 1.8T FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took the cluster to have repaired and then I drove it to the gas station a
mile down the street. At the gas station I could not get the car started.
1) it would start if I sprayed starting fluid in the air box.
2)  I had the computer reset by a shop to make sure that it was not the
immobilize.
3) The fuel pump is not getting power.

Would you think that the computer not sending power to the fuel pump or
bad fuse or relay?
Thank, Tom

I ran power to the fuel pump, it pumps fuel at a high pressure. 4) after the mechanic reset the computer, it does not have spark now

I checked all the fuse under the dash and also checked the relay. the fuse are good and the relay has power and seems to work.
