Recharge with a power plug? The nav system should be drawing power from the car through a fused circuit.

Yes you can add a 12 volt power outlet. Sometimes Audi puts one in the center console. You can find a universal type on eBay by searching "cigarette lighter socket" and then sort by "price + shipping lowest first" - there's a couple thousand auctions to choose from.

You need to get a plasma pump first and refill the screen before you recharge it.
