When I try to start my car it only makes a buzzing/spinning type noise behind the stereo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving my car to a friends house to
chill and when I went to leave his house my
car would no longer turn on. All the
electronics seem to work on it headlights
radio etc. but when I try to turn it on it just
makes a buzzing/spinning or whining noise
from behind the stereo deck area. I have
check all the fuses in the cabin and under
the hood and they seem fine. None blown
what so ever. Checked clutch stop pads
and they are good. Took out my starter and
check to see if it got power when not
hooked up to vehicle and it seemed to. Any
ideas what could be wrong? Please help

I'm having the same problem. I have been using a pole to tap on my starter and it will eventually start until tonight it won't start at all I have to replace the starter.

Might not be the starter could be the main assembly relay it's on the passenger side by the glove compartment. I would use a volt meter to check if that is getting power
