Hyundai Sante Fe won't start without a jump

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
01 Hyundai Sante Fe wouldn't start without jump 2 days ago, took to Auto Place and analysis stated needs alternator. Next day it started up and took it to three different places for analysis and nothing found that needed to be repaired including alternator. So we changed the oil, gassed it up and worked all rest of day. Now today it won't start again without a jump. No corrosion or issues with battery connections. Any suggestions?

Your alternator could still be the problem. Get yourself a cheapie millimeter and set it on volts DC. hook it up to the battery once the car is jumped and running. You should have14+ volts showing on your meter. If not, then you need the alternator. Also, just so you know your battery may be damaged by the bad alternator. If you end up replacing the alternator, then it wouldn't hurt to have what is known as a load test done on your battery. Let us know what you find out. Also, make sure all your connections are good both ends.

Check all GROUNDS ...Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Write them down. Possibly an interment alternator problem,Check its output use a multimeter, at battery terminals when idling 13.2-14.8 volts of course they load tested the battery first and its good?
It's none of the above they all do this one guy took it to dealer & they changed tranny Yikes it's an intermittent problem maybe the key fob thing lock unlock.
