When your battery light comes on, all your electric devices should start failing...especially your lights, your radiator cooling fans and your AC blower. Almost 100% of the time when the battery light flickers while the engine is running indicates a alternator failure. Charge your battery and crank the engine...if everything works fine and the battery light stay off for a good while..it is the alternator. You can also check your alternator by checking the battery voltage with a volt meter while the engine is stopped....then crank the engine ..measure the voltage again ...it the alternator is working the voltage of the second measurement should be 2 to 3 volts higher that the voltage of the first measurement..
