Won't start after fueling

Check engine light on or not? Have you had the car checked for stored trouble codes? The problem you describe is most likely in the emissions control system and is cause by a bad electric control valve in the black box under the truck in the vicinity of the drivers seat. There are 2 valves in there and a filter. The problem seems to be caused by over filling the gas tank. Always let the pump shut off and do not try to top it off. If you go to an autoparts store and have them check for codes I am pretty sure an emissions code will show up
I hope not overfilling your tank has worked. I had this same problem and the solution was the Purge Control Valve (PCV) and it cost like $41 and you needed a pair of pliers to fix it. From my recollection, that valve removes air after adding fuel, and if not working properly, will cause the engine to have an improper Air:Fuel Ratio. Let me know if this helps at all, I'm looking at buying another one of these cars! Thanks and hope it helps!
This is has nothing to do with fueling but check Mass Air Flow sensor.......this could cause all those symptoms.
