All wheel drive transformation?

Asked by Leanne Feb 25, 2015 at 08:11 PM about the 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4L FWD

Question type: Car Customization

I currently have a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
that has under 100 miles on the meter.  It
currently resides as a rear wheel vehicle.
Due to the impending snow storms this
year and years to come, I am considering
trying for a customization that changes its
rear wheel drive into an AWD system.  Is
there a way to do this, or am I stuck with a
RWD until I can afford a new car with an
AWD system?

Ditto what Tom said. Try getting new more snow friendly tires. Street treaded tires are great on dry pavement not so good in the snow. A more aggressive tread or snow tire will help.
