Crack but want start

I have had this issue several times in the past with mine. For me it was a simple fix every time. The first few times I just replaced the ignition coil. after a bit of research, I found the root caus as being a faulty connection on the #25 ground pin on the fuse block, which is a common failure on early models of the Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 versions. But I have to agree with the poster above, take it to a mechanic if you are not one yourself.
