Antifreeze leak on top side

Asked by GuruTJKGV Jul 27, 2018 at 08:15 AM about the 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Where could this leak be coming from ?
The antifreeze set on top of the motor where the
temperature switch is .... I know it isn't my radiator
or my water pump and my truck isn't running hot....

If you are sure it's antifreeze, it might be the heater hoses leaking, that run along top of the engine on the six cylinder motor. And sometimes the radiator cap will dribble and blow back along the top. Good Luck.

If it's oil, the valve covers may be leaking a little on these older engines. And antifreeze will smell as it evaporates.
