when I flush a system I remove the thermostat because they are cheap and it's a good time to replace them plus the coolant circulates good , once it is flushed with water and you drain out all you can there is still some left behind and if I add straight coolant it still might be a little weak , you need the hydrometer to see if it is correct mix depending on where you live , and with a new radiator I bought it said to use distilled water , I catch as much old coolant as I can ,screen it and put it on craigs list for free so someone can use it , here in the vampire state they're all about recycling but hit you up for $20** to turn in hazardous waste , hence most people won't do it
You may never get it all out, but you could do a flush using chemicals available at the part stores. G05 is good stuff and would be great for it.
Would it hurt to mix g05 with the remaining green coolant i know your not supposed to mix them because one is OAT AND g05is HOAT
Get on the web and read the information on the Zerex site regarding G05. I think you can, but I am not certain.
So i took the belt off to inspect pulley and i noticed the water pump makes a sqeaking sound when turning it, sounds just like the old one that went bad. Does this mean this one is bad too?

that's a good indication , if the pulley moves or has any play in it then go ahead and replace it as preventive maintenance , any leaks can be blown around by the fan and wind up somewhere else throwing you off
So evertime i open the radiator cap i noticed the coolant is low but as soon as i start it, it starts flowing up and becomes full
I let it run for just a sec and it becomes full and stays that way till i let it set and then check it and it appear low again but its pretty cold out .

if you let it run and pull the cap it will go up and down , make sure the over flow has coolant , pull the cap when it's cold before you start it and see what the level is , if it's low you can top it off close the cap then see if the over flow gets used up
Overflow tank is full the radiator level is full until i let it sit for a few hours then it becomes low
