What year doors will fit my 97

I bought a used drivers door that the owner assured me would fit. He said from 93-98 would fit. Everything fits except the middle of the door on the hinge side sticks out about 3/4 of an inch. It gradually starts to stick out from the top of the trim to the pin stripe. Any suggestions?

no,97 to 2000,will be the same door.97 and under is different in size.

Production of first-generation models ended after a long run in 2001, and the current- generation Cherokee didn't appear until the 2014 model year, after a decade-plus hiatus.
