When replacing the lift struts on your Jeep's rear window, the window has to be propped open/up. First remove the worn out struts, clean and lubricate both ball joints. Wear safety glasses as the new struts will be compressed and zip tied in a retracted position for shipping. Release the zip tie to carefully allow the strut to extend. Then snap each end piece onto the ball, getting the strut right side up...thick part up top. Carefully see if the window opens/close properly. I bought the complete set of three pairs on Ebay to save money. Hood...hatch...rear window.
