i had to change the door on my 1998 grand cherokee laredo, now the security light is on, and my jeep wont start. how do i fix this?

the door panels were different so we gutted the one and brought it over the new door, now
the security light is one and my starter is clicking.

Did you have the door open for a long time? If so the battery is probably dead. Charge the battery or try to jump start it. Doing this should get you back on the road.

be sure you have a charged battery. close all doors. go to passenger side door and lock/unlock door twice with the key from the outside this is the way to factory reset the oem security system
