how do i change the emergency brake cables going to the wheels on my 2004 grand jeep cherokee

not sure how to get the emergency brake cables off going to the wheels on my 2004 grand jeep cherokee

You will have to remove the rear wheels. Then remove the rotors. After rotor removal you can back the emergency brake shoes off that were on the inside of the rotor (this will make it easier to unfasten the cables at their anchor point) and remove the cable stops. Then proceed to remove the rest of the cable assembly and the cable housing.
