1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee won’t start

Asked by Guru58X8X Jan 27, 2018 at 05:35 PM about the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Jeep will start sometimes, but right
now I turn the key and it just clicks and
doesn’t start. But when I turn the key the
dashboard lites up as well as the radio.
What could be the issue. Neutral safety
switch? Ignition switch?

Bad battery, or bad battery connection. Most likely your battery though. Remove it and have it tested with a carbon pile load tester.
