Rear axle fluid change

Good Morning,
New to Jeeps and forum. I would like to change the rear axle fluid on my 99 GC.
Looks to be tight with the gas take there. Are there any "tricks" or is this just a
pain to do as there is limited room?

i have a 92 jeep, now i looked at the book time to change the fluid in ur 99 and it calls for half hour so i am assuming its possible to do it and not to complicated, if u can send me a pic of ur rear end i might be able to give a better suggestion Serg
Thanks for the reply. I have done plenty of these before but the gas tank is real close to the diff. There appears to be a rubber plug instead of the "normal" steel plug.So was just tring to see if there were any tricks that I may be overlooking. Iwould not be a fun job to have to take the diff cover off as there is no room. So I am wondering iof you just take out the rubber plug and siphon out the old fluid...etc...
there are not many tricks most of this is the same on many cars. there are pumps you can buy that will stick right onto regular bottles of Dif fluid. just get the old stuff out, and pump the new stuff in until it starts coming out of the hole. don't try and do a trick to fill it up further then that, that can cause a lot of problems.

2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo I changed my rear diff fluid this weekend. It was a very tight squeeze between the rear diff and the gas tank. I did not remove the cover. Removed the rubber plug, and used a pump with long tubes to suction out the old fluid and then to pump in the new fluid till it began to come out of the plug hole. I started out with a bulb suction pump but it was not able to move the thick fluid easily so I used my hand pump. It took patience to get it all out.
