2000 jeep grand cherokee overheating issue

Asked by G_guiam Jul 28, 2015 at 01:32 PM about the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo. My car's thermostat reader rises past the
normal temp driving through streets or when i'm stopped at a stoplight. When i start to
drive on the freeway however the temp starts to drop back to normal. I just got my water
pump replaced, fan clutch works and my radiator replaced. The car engine doesn't shake
heavily when this happens. I started to notice it after i got my radiator replaced and drove
about 300 miles from la to san jose.
