I put on a new head gasket I put on a new head
gasket tighten everything down makers all together
right went to start it and it and aggressively idled
really really high like someone was pushing the
throttle

Was the throttle linkage or cable kinked up during overhaul? It also might be a massive vacuum air leak near the intake manifold.
