Is My Jeep Front or Real Wheel drive ?

Asked by Escape_1477 Jan 21, 2017 at 03:14 PM about the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: General

I have a 2012 Jeep Grande Cherokee I bought used.  I recently went to the
mountains and put chains on the front tires.

The Jeep is 2 wheel drive with NO 4 wheel option.  BUT,  Some guys said
my back wheels were spinning in the snowing parking lots when I was stuck
for a minute.  Does that mean its real wheel drive?
