My 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited has no taillights – brakes, flashers/turn signals and reverse/backup lights all operate fine. Replaced the turn signal/multi-function switch first because turn signals were not turning off after turn was completed. Within a day car wouldn’t start because battery was dead so battery was replaced. The next time out driving at night, another motorist alerted us that our taillights were not working. We aren’t sure when this problem started tho. We checked fuses, got new bulbs and a couple bulb sockets but still no taillights. Lots of stuff online but most ended up replacing entire rear light assemblies so that’s what we did. We need some helpful advice asap can’t drive at night. 1 Answer

I bought this jeep Cherokee 4x4 Hemi, someone installed a lift kit on it. The problem is : It started getting a flashing low tire which I checked the tire pressure and they are fine, Yesterday I was driving around 35mph and the car sort of jumped while a bing sounded. so I pulled over and shut off the car. When I started it again It seemed fine until it happened again at about the same speed only the engine light came on. Its not over heating. And I did a diagnotic with the key and all it says is perform service. service tire Press. system. ?? 2 Answers

Bought a 2004 jeep grand cherokee with 109,000 miles on it. Everything worked and ran great on test drive. After driving it 3 times over a week the battery died. It was a newer battery and checked out fine. Put a new alternator in still would not always start. Put a new starter in ran for two day and now will not start again. Short somewhere? Where to start looking. Does have an aftermarket remote starter hooked up, have not used that yet. 1 Answer

I have a 1995 Grand Cherokee Limited and I am randomly getting front end noise. This can be a rumble or even a howl in the driver's front wheel with vibration. This happens at random and I just never know when. Ths is a AWD NP249 TC and we have replaced both front and rear drive shafts, both cv axles on the front end.The transmission was recently rebuilt about 4 months ago too. I just have no clue what's causing this and it's hard to pinpoint when it happens randomly then after cutting car of will be ok later. I'm thinking perhaps differential but would like an expert opinion. 2 Answers
