The car was with the repair shop 14 months. Checked everything. Acts like it is engaging
anti-theft (just my guess). Two good mechanics have checked it out. Any suggestions
would be ever so grateful! Does not overheat, not leaking oil,starter & battery excellent.
Fuel pump good. Could there be some constriction to the fuel? Fuses checked.
Sometimes it will restart, sometimes not.

Did you change or check the fuel filter? On a 14 year old car it's a good cheap option to check.

I have a 1995 Grand Cherokee Limited and I am randomly getting front end noise. This can be a rumble or even a howl in the driver's front wheel with vibration. This happens at random and I just never know when. Ths is a AWD NP249 TC and we have replaced both front and rear drive shafts, both cv axles on the front end.The transmission was recently rebuilt about 4 months ago too. I just have no clue what's causing this and it's hard to pinpoint when it happens randomly then after cutting car of will be ok later. I'm thinking perhaps differential but would like an expert opinion. 2 Answers

1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee will run and then just stop. There is no spark to teh spark plugs. When it cools down it starts up again. We have changed teh collnoid and the crank shaft sensor. 2 Answers

When driving the motor just quits. It will go a couple of miles then quit. We have changed the colloid and the crankshaft sensor and it still does the same thing.
