Cooling fan not going on... Help?!

Asked by gr8girl413 Jun 26, 2012 at 06:50 PM about the 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had the radiator replaced, but the cooling fan isn't going on so the engine is still getting very hot. Any suggestions befor eI have to dump a bunch more money into it?

Did you replace the radiator because it was clogged or broken in some fashion or simply because it was running hot? Could it have been the fan all along or maybe it wasn't plugged back in(correctly?). Check relays and fuses and finally fan motor itself. Check connections first
