well yes, except the torque converter has nearly a gallon by itself, if you can drain the converter too, go ahead...just assume take it to transmission shop where they'll drop the pan change the filter and gasket, put new fluid in there and get rid of the baddies....Yes, take it to the shop for transmission service~

es you can. I'm a female without much car knowledge, but I do know it's as easy to add transmission fluids as it is other fluids, such as oil, window wiper fluid, etc. It's also easy to change your air filters too. Look in your maintenance book of on-line to do. I do it before I take my car for a grease & oil change. They rock you on this & it's easy buying one & installing it yourself. Saves $$$$ and it feels good to save the $$'s & know you did it yourself!!!!

indeed, except I take MY car to the mechanic for stuff like this...oily, messy...up in the air on the lift....yeah, I'll pay for that, thank you...I'm 49 now and don't like to go down on my knees for auto repair anymore~ happens when you have MS and cannot work anymore...I guess~
