Jeep won't fire!

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo edition
V8.  I will start it in the morning and it works great.
Then after 8 hours of work, it starts when I want to
leave. But if I go somewhere and try starting it after  
1 or 2 hours, it wont fire. It turns over but doesnt
fire. We have tried putting in a fuel relay, and a
crank shaft censor. Also, when it doesnt start, the
check engine light comes on and or check gauges.
We thought everything was fixed after putting in
crank shaft censor. But after a week, it did it again.
What will fix this problem!???

You have a bad electrical part somewhere, anything from a wire or censor to the ECM that will not work while it's hot.

Brotherben is on the right track. I too thought a crank shaft sensor would be the most likely suspect. So now scan for codes and it will get more specific. This model Jeep will "self diagnose". Without starting the engine, turn the key On and Off three times, stopping at On. Watch your odometer for a four digit number(s) and write it down. When all (or no) codes are displayed, it will say "done". Google the code number and diagnose from there.
