My 2001 Grand Cheroke wont turn over.

I got a one time click and then nothing, I tried jumping but still nothing,  I had a similar problem months ago but I jump it and it has been fine since.  any thoughts?

Happened with mine too it was a fuse i believe its a ignition fuse? Im not too sure the cover for the fuse box will tell you tho

put a NEW battery in there five years old is too old with these tin/antimony batteries....wirebrush the ground connection 1/0 wire to chassis and the chassis too....and the cable leading to the engine block too~

It turned out to be the starter solenoid. I crawled under the car and banged it with a screwdriver head which loosen the solenoid enough for it to start, then I replaced the starter.
