Stalls after idling 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Asked by ChrissyHogue Jul 12, 2012 at 01:54 PM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If I let it idle too long (worse in the heat) it starts to vibrate, then a plume of smoke (anti-freeze) puffs out
of the engine then it dies.  If I wait a few minutes, add coolant, then start her she runs again just fine. I
think it's the fan or a fuse but how do I diagnose it?  Thank you!
