What's wrong with my brakes?

Asked by Javon Aug 27, 2015 at 07:24 AM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving home and as I started using
my brake it lost a lot of pressure and now to
get my car to slow I have to put the pedal all
the way down and it slows down slowly. If I
pump it a lot it responds a little bit but not
long.

First check brake fluid level if it is low most likely there is a leak some were in the system if still full the brake master cylinder most likely bad.
