Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Jeep grand Cherokee 4.0 IL6   CPS problem. I striped out the
threads that hold the sensor in the transmission. I could put a smaller bolt
with nut through it. but my question is, Do i push the new sensor all the way
down to the paper spacer then tighten it ? WIll the flywheel remove the
spacer that comes with it ? this will be a OEM Mopar sensor . because the
55$ one is defective or does not work. . . sigh.
