Jeep grand cherokee airbag light

My 02 wj has a airbag light on code is
0066 for left front impact sensor. I know
where the sensor is but how do i go about
disconnecting it ? Maybe the light will go
out after cleaning it and reconnecting it ?

SRS systems should be handled with care.. they use explosive squibs and an accidental discharge can cause $1000 or more in damage. If your competent to do this work then follow all the factory service procedures.
