Master switch or something else?

Asked by Brian Aug 08, 2018 at 09:41 AM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My master switch stopped working and my
windows and doors locks won’t work. Also the
interior lights stay on while the Jeep is running and
they won’t cut off until the Jeep is off? Anybody
know the problem?

Had the same issue with my 2004. Check the wiring harness in your driver's side door. I'll bet you have at least one broken or kinked wire. These jeeps are known for this issue.
