Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am tired of putting money into this 2003 jeep grd cheer all it does is cost money and has so
many recalls on it.  The gas tank the heated seats etc...  was wondering if I should trade it in for
something that is not probmatic and if so do you have any suggestions.

Thanks Tom and no I don't want another payment but I also don't want to keep putting money into this 10 year old jeep. Something else always happens. I guess between gas prices and fixing this I don't know which is worse. I haven't fixed the stabilizer yet. Just got a price for it. So depressing. Yadayadayada... thanks again.

Priscilla, Jeeps hav always been know for their electrical problems and the recalls. Funny though Jeep has continued to build newer models with similiar probs. Jeeps are not cheap to maintain. I have had 3 jeeps, I am on my last at the moment and do not plan to ever buy another again. I have always enjoyed the ride Jeep has given and the great off road capability but the cost of maintenance is high. There a tons of websites online that offer great break downs on vehicles, google and search and you will be better infomred about your next choice for a vehicle.

as far as getting rid of your vehicle I would check to see what the current cost of repair is and compare it to buying another vehicle. Somewhere along the line you have to decide if you want to keep putting money into your jeep. Good luck.
