I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 4.7L and from time to time it stalls.

Asked by ssgtaudi Feb 09, 2015 at 04:34 PM about the 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In the last two weeks from time to time it stalls when I come to a stop sign or a stop light.
It does not happen all the time. I've changed the spark plugs, the air filter, cleaned the
throttle, and I'm still having this issue.  The engine maintenance light and codes are not
coming up.  What can it be or what is my next step?

if it has a distributor the rotor button might be dirty or carbon tracks on it, if not the coil packs or coil on plugs need changed
