i have a 98 jeep cherokee limited quadtrac and one day it just started making a noise up front and makes it all the time even in reverse.

it sounds like it is on the drivers side front. replaces drivers wheel bearing and cv shaft. now I took out driveshaft and it stopped. I replaced u joints in driveshaft put it back in vehicle and the noise is still there.

Could be rear bearings or rear end...sounds transfer and it's sometimes hard to tell you exactly where is sound is
